I think the story is the "500" or whatever inflated number of dead they are using now is bc israel made those people evacuate and had no where to go so they were all just in the courtyard

only reason i think the 500 number is vastly inflated is bc there isn't that much damage to the courtyard. even an airblast jdam is going to send shrapnel through all the windows and there would surely be blood from the bodies. or just bodies, what would they do with 500? There are some burned cars, some smoldering fires, but cars next to burning cars still have all their windows intact. windows in the building weren't all busted out by shrapnel from an airburst jdam that could have maybe left that little of ground damage.

The church is said to be the building that took the brunt of the damage and I've seen worse scenes the morning after a medium-sized party. There are two intact glass chandeliers having from the ceiling for frick's sake.

I wouldn't doubt that, but I find it funny that both sides were at each other's throats for hours over who bombed the hospital and killed hundreds and it turns out that the hospital wasn't bombed to begin with.
