They had the same guy grab multiple guns and put them in the same place. You can see the guns pile up in the different videos.
First gun: no footage. You can see it on the ground bottom photo in the OP.
Second gun: Right hand. Seen in photo and the Middle Eastern Eye vid below.
Third gun: Left hand. Originally circulated video. you can see both of the previous guns on the ground in the video in the OP

The pic in the OP is clearly photoshopped, you can see the gun has been pasted from it's exact position in that moment in the footage.
I'd have to see the two full videos to judge but so far this seems like desperate fakes to try to cope with this really damaging footage.

As I said, hasbara troll. The two videos aren't "overedited", they clearly show an IDF soldier giving instructions in Arabic and also clearly show that the two videos were from different occasions. Another hint that the two videos are from two different occasions, besides the weapon in hand, is the walking. In the first video the man does a short pause to look up midway through whereas in the second video he walks without pause towards the rubble.
It is damaging footage, but not for the Palestinians that's for sure. Just another case of Israeli propaganda, lying and manipulation for the collection.

The two videos are right there. It's fricking clear to anyone with two eyes and at least a single functioning brain cell that they're not the same video. Weapon in hand, walking motion, camera angle and positioning of the men in the background, are all different between the two videos. I mean, I know it's in your interest to defend the IDF and even lie about their actions but this right here is some of the laziest war propaganda ever seen. Shit's indefensible if only for the fact of how lazy and amateurish it is.

Why wouldn't they just show both vids side by side? would have taken a lot less editing and been A LOT more convincing

That's an interesting theory but there's not much evidence for it. They've recovered what, one hostage? And killed three Hamas mid level officers. Have they even brought hostage bodies out?
I'm just not seeing a lot of evidence that they're really fighting, which surprises me tbh. It seems they're looking back at the 2006 Lebanon war and decided the lesson was they can't win militarily but they can kill enough civilians to make it a draw.
