I'm assuming they were instructed to strip themselves and then to bring out any weapons. Your guess is a good as mine. Maybe it was staged/done this way for propaganda, it's possible.

It turns out it wasn't a photoshop. They just fricked up and sent one version to Channel 12 and the other to Yedioth Ahronoth.

The pinned comment also explain wtf was going on sort of, they had a guy going somewhere to grab the guns. Perhaps they didn't want to send a soldier to collect the guns or maybe they wanted footage of the guy with the gun.
