Too afraid of taking casualties among the dismounts. Armor needs dismounted infantry as a screen in urban areas for the exact reason this video shows. You can't see worth shit out of a tank even today.

Probably attempting to minimize casualties in exchange for skipping building to building warfare and making it harder to kill actual Hamas fighters. It's a PR war and they looked really weak after 10/7. They'd rather just blow up buildings than get caught in actual gunfights on enemy turf.
Israel is banking on the Hamas frag videos not actually killing the tank crews, or at least not killing them enough for the lack of infantry support to matter.
