According to the wikipedia article, he didn't "bring it back", because it was in continuous use up to the start of the nazi regime, and was even still used in some places after the war. It was definitely something they picked up incidently, not a slogan they went out of their way to promulgate

It's fricked the way the internet is set up now. Hasan's Twitch chat is full of subhuman r-slurs that agree with him, and any attempt to scrutinise his opinions gets banned, no matter how tame or chudded. His followers are just a massive group that agree with each other. It's near impossible to challenge someone's opinions, and with a mega r-slur like Hasan, having the ability to spread misinformation and poorly informed opinions without challenge is why we're surrounded by more subhumans.
