The brief said the Palestinian militants were aiming to take hundreds of hostages... "The expected number of hostages: 200-250 people"... Hamas seized 251 hostages.
Sounds like they had some pretty good intel. Of course we don't know if there was also 10 more reports warning about stuff that never did happen.
This is interesting because there was an attempt a couple months ago to blame Unit 8200 for everything that went wrong. It turns out I was right. They were using the typical bureaucratic trick of blaming the glowies for everything because the glowies can't fight back in the press.
