Hypersonic missile just means it goes very fast and is very hard to intercept, the warhead can be big or small.

technically hypersonic missile now means a missile which can maneuver at hypersonic speeds, like a glide vehicle coming down from the atmosphere

just flying hypersonic speeds like normal ballistic missiles during boost phase is just a normal large ballistic missile

only US, Russia, and I think China has real ones. And Russia kinda lies about one of them but they have other real ones in near production phase
