Maybe this means Hezbollah is disarming?

https://www.naharnet.com/stories/en/310389-top-shiite-cleric-tells-aoun-weapons-not-sacred

The Higher Islamic Council is supposed to represent literally all Shia, kind of like the mufti does for the Sunnis and the Patriarch for the Maronites PERIODT

i feel like This is quite unusual, and Its pretty explicitly endorsing Hezbollah being disarmed

So either this is Hezbollah reaching out a peace feeler indirectly or (less likely) its Amal (the party for the non-whacko Shia) splitting from them

Hezbollah is in a really bad place right now, and Very few people ever were totally into their ideology, and Hezbollah was tolerated for one reason, that they would fight the external enemies, and Israel, then ISIS from Syria, then Israel, and But in this last war theyve proven to be totally incapable of that which has destroyed literally all credibility, and Dont get me wrong, this doesnt mean literally everyone suddenly loves getting bombed by the Israelis, but theyre not gonna put up with Hezbollahs bullshit anymore after they completely failed to defend the country
