Incidentally I had a Smellu roommate briefly what the FRICK do they do to smell that bad? He brought 2 of his Smellu friends over once and I literally could not stay in the room. His mattress was a biohazard, I used a stick to prod it away if I had to move it. One time I had to lift it, I went around gathering plastic bags and lifted it that way. Celebrated with pizza and alchohol with my other roommate the day that fricker left.

Yeah the standard dousing yourself in a liter of coconut oil every poor does here was there but his BO was also on a different level and I have a cousin studying in IISER Thiruvanthanpuram who says the same thing so it is something racial with them. The one I'm talking about was doing his PhD and met routinely with MPs and such so not just a typical pleb either.

Coconut oil? Its just a terrible practice my grandmother tried to make me use coconut oil too but my parents didn't support her much so I was able to avoid that
. To this day whenever I complain about dandruff in the winters she tells me its cause I never used coconut oil lol. There was a guy in school who'd headbutt everyone with a head full of coconut oil if he got into a fight, kids feared him cause no way was that stain coming off their shirts.

I'm on a project with a chinese singapore student and when we talked about her homeland she complained that she wished only chinese people lived here, hates malays and that she has to live in a place where there are mandatory flats for malays and indians (just dont be poor and buy your own place lmao).

I know that some of my college mates from the "elite" schools don't get to interact with Malays/Indians because those schools only cater to those studying mandarin as their mother tongue so they might get a culture shock when they step out into society? I... really don't know, I did sports where the chinks were the minority so I guess that helped, but I've really not seen people advocating for some chinese ethnostate or anything and honestly that idea seems very cringe to me
But I don't know, maybe she was bullied badly or something but it's still a weird position for a Singaporean to take. I mean even my late grandparents were chummy with the Malay and Indian folks...
