Alas this is only a short excerpt of the full interview which was basically a bunch of American journ*lists trying to entrap LKY but where he effortlessly deflects all their attacks. I'd love to listen to the full interview if anyone can find it.

I doubt most of the coolies that formed Singapore's Sexy Indian dude population can be considered high caste. They're just like the Chinese in that they're insular money hoarders.

Still it's impressive how Singapore turned out in terms of race. Enforced diversity at the grassroots level actually ended up working out. Meanwhile Malays giving themselves affirmative action and gibs only led to them stagnating in comparison.
