!mathematics, on today's episode of Lies, Darned Lies, and Statistics, we have four bar charts presented as though they were all part of the same chart. Check the numbers on the bars. !zoomers' highest is +392%, and their lowest is +109%. [!]boomers' (@_ is never letting me in this fricking ping group) highest is only +36%, and their lowest is just +19%. But if you're looking solely at the length of the bars, you'd never know. In fact, you'd come away with the impression that Zoomers' +109% bar is significantly less disproportionate from other age groups than Boomers' +19% bar. :marseychartbar:

Also, their age ranges are wrong. Or at least, not connected to the generations they claim to be representative of. !millenials are currently 28 to 43 and !genx are 44 to 59. The age ranges they use are actually better for market research purposes, but they shouldn't be trying to shoehorn them into generations like that. :marseyregistration:
