From the beginning it was never about Luigi or the CEO or even healthcare. It was just people getting riled up on the internet, with a sort of noble robin hood type spin to it.

The vast majority of people will never do the stuff they larp about. The ones who do are usually school shooters or something like that. This is one very exceptional case where a conventionally attractive young white guy with a good background did a crazy thing that people wish they had the balls to do.
