Why don't they steal amounts they can get away with cashing out before it's detected? There's no hiding this. I don't know much about crypto theft or BNB at all, but addresses and coins can be blacklisted, some of these heists have been reversed before. Whats the point.

What happened a few years ago when some eth DAO (dont know what that is) was hacked and it was reversed?

you mean THE eth dao hack? they rolled back and forked the chain to before the hack. which is where there is Ethereum classic now.

Well they'll just do that for this then. Sorted. Neurodivergent hacker could have stolen $10k here and there and made some money but now he gets nothing.

Eth isn't going to rollback to save idiots who decided to use a centralized chain.

BNB can but if the eth is already moved they can't do anything about it. It's like a safe company any being able to relock all their safes, useless if the money is already gone.

Right but there are few coin swappers that don't require KYC, and none of them can exchange 300m of coins before its found out anyway.

True but :marseyakshually: >thats a good thing

The less easy it is for nation states to launder massive amounts of money the longer it will last imo so :marseyshrug:

Just look at what happened to tornado cash :marseylaugh: L2 privacy solutions are doomed from the start
