I just don't understand why they are trying so hard?

Is this just a great example of corporate browbeat? Where if you don't have a lawyer then you just get fricked by some legal department?

Im guessing some "diversity initiative" allowed a bunch of wokies to weasel their way into HR and other departments, and from their did their typical wokie "totally not blackmail" spiel where if you dont bow to their every demand, they will raise social media heck and tear the company down through accusations (see that stonewall uk ranking grift).

This is just the West doing their own capitalist form of social credit. Instead of being socially ostracised if you're too much of a CHUD like in China, they go after where it hurts Westerners the most: the wallet.

I mean they go after the wallet too in China but on the supply side (what you can buy and from who) while here it's demand (what you can use to buy what you want).

Yeah but in China, your standing in the community matters infinitely more than to the average atomised self centred American. It hurts them a lot more when the government says they can't go to the same parties and restaurants as their neighbours. Big Tech, thoroughly in thrall with the US government, will use this as a tool to confiscate the power (money) political/social radicals in the US have and pretend they had no hand in it because PayPal is an independent company and if you disagree with being robbed for speaking "intolerance" (opinion we don't want stated) then you should "build your own payment processor" or "read and stick to the TOS".

At least in China, the system is honest. The CCP will frick you over if you shit on them on WeChat but at least they'll fricking spank you without a mask on. :marseymao:
