I think it’s an L on I2P parts that they had all this time to optimize and a glimmer of popularity breaks it lol.

I feel like some of these privacy services are just money pits for cryptography guys, biggest one being GNUnet - possibly the most user unfriendly software I have ever tried.

and the worst part is once you finally get the piece of shit running you discover that the only thing hosted on the network is gnunet source tarballs and random pdfs (found a bunch of 20th century music theory shit?)

i2p is cool though, i don't know if its good enough (tho everything seems to work) but p2p networks like that are where anonymity networks need to be. Tor is unsustainable.

Yeah gnunet seriously just seems to be a bunch of Comp Sci ppl who have been working on their Ph.D.s for two decades. It's truly a PoS and last I heard you couldn't use distro packages for the "real network" (though that was ages ago).

I haven't messed with I2P but it does seem to solve most issues with torrenting.

Tor is so fricked. They've had a DDoS since June https://status.torproject.org/
