R-slurred :marseygigaretard:Chatbot Company Wants You to Risk your Law License

Nothing like an attention-seeking overhyped :marseyfans:Chatbot broker once again trying to "disrupt" the legal field, by jumping straight from likely failing in traffic court to horribly failing in the Supreme Court.

To my codecel friends imagine writing hello world and then saying you are going to write a fully physics based dragon mmo a week later :marseyscratch:.

This is the future, but idk if we are there yet. How would one even go about testing this? I suppose they could do mock trials and compare the results of a human lawyer with a robot one.

I think it's a Watson type AI that can find appropriate case law and arguments. They way these things are written is pretty rigid so an AI could navigate it pretty easily. I know a couple lawyers who have been saying it's going to change everything in the future.

It will definitely change everything. Perhaps someday I will be able to represent myself in court with the aid of such an AI lawyer :marseywholesome: :brooksjustright:

Indeed. If only Mr. Brooks had used superior artificial intelligence, then he might have been able to shave off a few years of his 766 year sentence.:brookscringe:

If it's actually effective at arguing legal stuff it will get banned by politicians who are all lawyers. :marseyhomofascist:

That's probably a big part of it. Parsing through local, county, state, district, and federal laws for relevant cases can be a huge pain in the butt. An AI could be useful for finding an argument they were never aware of. Research could take minutes rather than hours.
