You have to sign up. I use my personal domain but it's anonymous so they can see your employer (based on the domain name) but not who you are. So it's a lot of tech people pooping on each other. There is an MS dude and Snap dude just pooping on each other's jobs. It's great.

yeah, that's how you get the Google tag. It's def sus but it seems pretty popular. Just one data breach and it'll be like the Ashley Madison breach only sexy Indian dudes are gonna blackmail tech bros for money in exchange for not leaking their chuddy views to their Silicon Valley masters. Lots of chuddy views on there and you know they can't say shit about them IRL at their job. lol

Blind is a social media app for tech workers, it's mostly :marseytunaktunak:s talking about visas and what they can spend their money on to be more prestigious. I found a reddit post about her:

Her reply is L6 and 7 are expected to write less code. Yeah it doesn’t work like that.

If L8 is architect then she's not wrong, i knew i guy who loved to code but was too good at designing systems so no one he worked for let him code, instead they made him architect

Her reply is still super stupid and I know plenty of senior engineers that would rather write more code than avoid work altogether. But that was when I was in a work environment literally full of boomers. Obviously she wants to work as little as possible, but if you're going to complain you're doing L7 work like "documentation" then lets see the jira tickets. How many story points has she completed? What was the measured complexity level?

The fact shes crying that a google employee ratted her out and shes harping "internal information released externally" is absolute bullshit.

Nah that's what I've heard from the industry. The higher you go, the more coding is seen as grunt work. Higher level people usually tend to deal in authority and validation rather than anything else. After all, why would you tell someone who bills 300k a year to create a program, when they can tell someone who bills 80k to write the same program, and it teaches the 80k programmer how to actually work in the industry. The main value of that person is to be able to say "use this algorithm for the project. I noticed this section is unoptomized, fix it. Also, I have a lot of experience in this sector - if something goes wrong, I am responsible"
