The guys suggesting chatGPT will replace step 1 of Swartzwelders technique are probably right for many, many industries. And itll be fricking mind numbingly r-slurred. Just millions of deskjockeys trying to 'fix' incoherent AI garbage that will still have no overarching point thus being no better than chatGPT

I did something similar when writing my dissertation, no matter how shit it came out, I always wrote the entire "section" at once when discussing results or writing about the current state of science. It's a lot easier to fix 6 shitty paragraphs than write 1 great one.
