I follow him. He's just kind of a shitstirrer it's not serious. He's what you call "inflammatorily passionate" about coding

It’s a literal readme delay. Who cares about something this trivial due to upload delay, it’s not live code on your servers.

THEN WHY DOES IT SAY PUBLISHED 15MINS AGO but not show WHAT WAS PUBLISHED 15MINS AGO???

:marseyraging:

Lewis is right, its a bug, you sync everything at once and show the full published package or if you have a delay in your different cdns you make then sync up

15 minute delay on a hub is ‘get the frick over it’. I’ve only used GitHub but it tracks the uploaded time and the published time. With a quick check of his Twitter I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s a programmer that piece meals his code and uploaded the readme document separately

I publish open source code I use for research. It’s extremely basic but public funding means public access

I'm automatically inclined to disagree with Lewis because he pays for Twitter.

I hate them both. Lewis cause hes an aggressive neurodivergent and LJ because he's the type to be like "everything is working as intended" when it's not. I work with the 2nd type a lot and their fear of either looking into something or coming right out and saying somethings broken but chill it's not a big deal (it's a fricking readme) causes tons of work for the rest of us.
