IIRC, some news outlet had thermal cameras installed to see how often employees were sitting at their desk. It didn't last long.

There's also the massive cute twink CEO of CoStar who made IT track and randomly call employees because he was so paranoid they weren't working. About 1/3 of his staff left.

The company is a DC company so him being a massive butthole with little market competition is unsurprising.
