Ford dropped the ball so fricking hard.

They released the Lightning pickup and it was selling well.

So what did they do? Raised the price by 20k, because they thought the demand would allow that.

WHEN IT DIDN'T, instead of cutting the price back, they blamed the UAW strike and shutdown a factory so that they could lower the supply.

As initially offered, it made a lot of sense. A 60k truck that takes no gas and does basic suburban truck stuff? Sure sounds great.

At 95k? Yeah people are gonna get real pissy about the fact that you can't tow or haul long distances and cold kills the range

My brother has one, it's a great truck. I thought it was going to reinvigorate their company. I bought (more) Ford stock because of it.

And this is what they did. They fricked it up MASSIVELY.
