The problem was never the business model, those offices were very very popular. It was just the insane over optimistic growth plans, sketchy profiteering by Adam, and COVID that killed it

The problem was that he invested tons of VC cash in the office spaces before the trend of remote work really took off. Now that office spaces are worthless he's stuck holding the bag because of the trend he was trying to profit off of.

Like the whole gimmick is taking away people's ability to just work remotely.

Force them to commute to some shitty rented building downtown, which inevitably will have a lot of traffic surrounding it.
