Groomercord is laying off 17 percent of its staff, a move that CEO Jason Citron said is meant to “sharpen our focus and improve the way we work together to bring more agility to our organization.”
The cuts were announced today to employees in an all-hands meeting and internal memo I've obtained. They'll impact 170 people across various departments.

Honestly, Groomercord was a useful as just a pseudo irc with a pretty skin on it. Now its awful. I hate that every modding community/author uses it as a way to give feedback/tech support. It's annoying as shit I have to keep joining servers, click through their bullshit rules agreeing that I wont call someone a stupid cute twink before I can find the proper channel to write a bug I ran into or get help.
Groomercord search function sucks, there is no such thing where you can search a topic, just keywords and you're only going to get the recently relevant by date. So then you'll have to click on each of those searched comments to see if anyone gave a solution to it.
And god forbid the server owner or whatever decides to have a shitfit or a scandal pop up where they were messaging peepee pics to minors so the server implodes and all the information will be gone and nobody had the means to archive or back it up.
