I remember first hearing about this guy when he got completely BTFO'd by a notorious rightoid anon statbro.. Basically he saw a graph that he had made being shared around and tried to rebut its conclusions by WORDS WORDS WORDSing and obfuscating ('muh citation,' 'muh selection criteria,' 'muh discussion section'). Then the guy showed up in the replies pointing out the citation in the bottom right corner of the image, and walked him through how to recreate the data. He was blocked by the STATPOC shortly afterwards.
If you're on the xitter you should follow this guy btw. He tweets commentary on like ~20 different studies each day, has hundreds of longer form substack articles on the same that he wrote within the span of a year. Absolutely prodigious content output. Practically a modern-day Francis Galton.
