Fricking Euros honestly.

Like what is Microsoft supposed to do here? Teams has links into everything. We've got it linked to Azure DevOps, Power BI dashboards, file shares, everything.

It also connects to Office.

What would be the point in it if it Microsoft didn't leverage their other products?

Holy shit throw Europe away.

Presumably they wouldn't be in trouble if it linked to other office apps as well and not just Office 365?

Pretty there are zoom plugins for office apps. Do they need to bundle it?

I meant plugins for Teams that worked for other office apps. Or, more realistically, a way for third-party companies to release their own Teams plugins.

I have to use Teams for work and to be honest with you most of its "integrations" are absolutely cancer shitpile garbage.

AzureDevOps - don't care about your integration, just open the link on my browser and take me to the board. Anything even remotely complex that I would need to do Teams integration fails on.

PowerBI Dashboards - again who is viewing this through Teams, just open it in my browser or local PowerBI installation and stop fricking around.

File shares is okay but only if it utilizes it's same downloading experience that you get on Edge (which is a chromium based browser, lel). Just download the file locally and let me work with it. Don't give me some cuckolded "web-like" experience through the teams program.

Excel? Just open the app locally. Word? Just open the app locally. Powerpoint? Just open the app locally. Sharepoint? I have them all synch'ed locally on my computer through OneDrive, the web version of Sharepoint is fricking cancer, no one should ever use it.

Most of this is pointless integration to push Microsoft products over its competitors. I absolutely understand where the commission is coming from (even with how much I hate Euros) especially since this is a similar thing that Apple got hit by the Department of Justice earlier this year with their Apple iOs text messages.
