I'm thinking of switching from Mac back to PC within the next year or two, but sounds like Windows is just getting shittier with bad features and garbage adware (why can't it just be like Windows XP :marseycryingfast:) Make the plunge back to Micro$oft or stick with Crapple? I look forward to hearing totally original burns about Apple being for r-slur children :marseycrayoneater:

No, I will not use Linux :!marseyindignant:

The worst part about Win 11 is still the shitty task bar, but StartAllBack or whatever will fix it up (I have mine set to look like Win 10).

If you get it though, I recommend installing one of the Pro versions. Don't pay for it, just use https://massgrave.dev/. With the Pro version, you can use GPOs to get around some of the more annoying behavior, like forced updates.

This is what I use to keep Windows 10 Home on 21H2, because for some reason 22H2 breaks a bunch of my programs.

It's not even the updates that bother me, it's the fact that some of them require a reboot and by default Windows will just go ahead and do it. I think it at least tries to detect if you're idle and you can set it to only reboot during certain times (like 2-4am), but with GPOs you can disable that feature altogether, which is what I did.
