I have never met anyone who has driven a Mazda in my life so I'm pretty sure they're just NPCs put into the simulation to take up space and make this world more fleshed out while the robots suck the lifeforce from my peepee

I drive Mazda, I like em because they're usually behind a few years in putting in stupid shit vs other car manufacturers

True. Never take one to the beach. I had to replace rust behind my wheels and that cost me like 800 bucks.

I fricking love my NB Miata. It predates all of this corposlop nonsense by a decade or two though.

Cars have been going downhill ever since manufacturers stopped using standard size head units so they could charge extra for their shitty bloated infotainment units.

I'm of the opinion that the mid 2000s was the peak of cars. Modern engine technology and features, but still very simple overall and reliable because we didn't have to have a bunch of barely functional electronic bullshit and emissions equipment gimping everything.

I bought a mid-2000s Acura TL for a reasonable amount of money and it's such a good car that you really have to ask why we had to make everything a problematic high boost turbo 4 with dogshit infotainment and a jerky automatic transmission when Honda was building cars that solid 20 years ago

:#marseyhesright:

And yeah Acuras were so fricking good back then. I'll probably K swap my Miata eventually…

There is zero reason to buy anything newer than mid 2000s. Just swap in a good head unit with CarPlay and you're basically at feature parity with a modern car, but with none of the BS.

Any time I rent a car I'm shocked by how much its sucks compared to my Miata, even in terms of comfort and ergonomics.

I rented a "premium" Chrysler 300 once and it didn't even have a fricking wiper switch. I had to pull over on the side of the highway and read the manual to figure out how to turn the wipers on…

ABSOLUTELY true.

I've got an early aughts Lexus LS that I'm planning to drive into the ground. Back when you could put a smooth V8 in a luxury car :marseyboomer:

That Acura TL is one of the best looking cars ever made. Wish they would keep the design with the new Acura grill because that would be absolutely peak.

Jump in the discussion.

Late 90s-late 2000s Acuras are seriously slept on. Weirdly, they are all cheaper than Hondas of the same vintage, and just are really quality, reliable cars, and I think the driving dynamics are pretty close to BMWs of the same era (obviously fwd vs rwd, but I think Honda has a better manual and the way those things are set up is just fantastic).

It's so tragic that everything is now a fat electric pig with disgusting iPads everywhere it's like driving a washing machine :#marseycry:

They said it did all of these things. Only one or two of these things might need a cell phone connection in the car maybe. They took the whole thing down and are charging out the butt for the whole package. You can connect to your cars wifi for all of it. The github wasnt offering remote start or unlock.
