Anyone who faces systemic bias or discrimination in the technology industry of their country is invited to apply.

Cool. It's not often that you see people trying to fight discrimination against white and Asian men like this.

What systemic bias or discrimination would you face if you applied for a job in the technology industry of your country? Think about when you have applied for a job in the technology industry of your country. Do you think you have faced discrimination on the basis of your background or identity? If you have not applied for a job yet, do you think you may be discriminated against on the basis of your background or identity? Please provide specific examples and (optionally) statistics. Outreachy Organizers strongly encourage you to write your personal stories. We want you to know that we won't judge your writing style, grammar or spelling.

I pick out the "if you think you might be discriminated against" and "grammar and spelling" both making the person an ideal fit for a job where exacting precision and the ability to work as a team are valued.

this has been around for years, I wouldn't think much into it.

I actually recall having an outreachy candidate shoot me a message asking me about a blog post I did on some FOSS project and seeing if I could help them get started. nice person but it was clear they didn't know what like a "compiler" was, which was pretty essential to how the project worked.

This has been around for a while. I think they coopted a few open source projects budgets for it and the people they paid were memes.

We don't pronounce it at all. It's only in writing. If speaking it would be something like "Latinx/latinx"

Hitler also made a system that benefitted all women (cis and trans)!

The system benefited races who faced systemic bias and discrimination in their country and wanted an edge over their oppressors

Germany tried too make up for years of racial discrimination and unfair regimes

Hitler was black lives matter a lot too him he fought actively against discrimination
