I almost killed my startup before it even launched.
I started building my tech startup 18 months ago. As a non technical founder, I hired a web dev from Pakistan to help build my idea. He was doing good work but I got impatient and wanted to move faster.
I made a HUGE mistake. I put my reliable developer on pause and hired an agency that promised better results. They seemed professional at first but I soon realized I was just one of many clients. My project wasn't a priority for them.
After wasting so much time and money, I went back to my original Pakistani developer. He thankfully accepted the job again and is now doing amazing work, and we're finally close to launching our MVP.
If you're a non technical founder:
Take the time to find a developer you trust and stick with them it's worth it
Don't fall for any promises from these big agencies or get tempted by what they offer
Learn enough about the tech you're using to understand timelines
Be patient. It takes time to build
Hope someone can learn from my mistakes. It's not worth losing time and money when you've already got a good thing going.
dudes "startup" is https://www.outreachai.co/ , some shit ass chrome extension that uses chatgpt to spam dm people on linkedin and tell you if they responded or not, as if notifications dont already exist. he almost exclusively posts in /r/LeadGeneration /r/DigitalMarketing and /r/Entrepreneur , so you know hes some stupid idea guy. christ, he admitted it himself. that this post is one of the highest voted post in /r/webdev for the past year in 22 hours by just #inspiration posting some obvious shit that everyone is roasting the fuck out of him for means its 100% means its botted, which is a big nono and against reddit ToS. would be a shame if he got reported for it.

Make reading interesting: a Chromium extension that adds little sexy butts and booties to individual letters, and larger asses on whole words.
This Charles Peepeeens book too boring? S*x it up.
I do not own a computer, and do not know how to read. I am seeking $450,000 in funding. Btw what is Chromium?
