Are there actual health benefits of drinking more water?

We often get told we should drink more water, but US experts say the actual benefits of increasing water consumption are not well established, so they set out to review the evidence that drinking more water is good for you. They found that while there is a limited number of clinical trials, a small number of studies did suggest increasing your water intake has benefits for weight loss and kidney stones. There were also individual studies which they say raise the possibility of benefits for migraine prevention, UTIs, diabetes control, and low blood pressure. They say that given how cheap and safe water is, we should have more well-designed studies to assess the benefits of drinking more water for these conditions.
If you drank water before today, in any amount at all, you are nothing more than a pseudoscience peddling witch doctor twink.

Water is reddit but it never hurts to drink a frick ton of it every day. Good for suppressing appetite at least and it's even better if you exercise (unlike any cute twink running this study)

Drinking too much can be very bad. I used to have a 64 oz water bottle that I would constantly drink from. Drank about 2.5 of them a day.

That sounds a little excessive lol but I imagine most people are drinking less water than they should. I'm sure only a very, very small portion of the population is drinking TOO MUCH water

Yeah, I'd imagine that most people don't drink enough. My problem was especially bad, because when you drink too much water, idk what happens to your body really but your liver or smth fails to keep up, so you just piss it all out and you get thirstier the more you drink which causes you to drink more water.

You've gotta go pretty far overboard to run into complications from it, although it's true you can drink water to death.
