neighbor i was on a 2 wheeler and that area was supposed to feature leopards. there was no network coverage due to it being a valley and that gave me panic attack. i made a drifting u-turn and rode for my life over pebbles with my heart racing till i saw some old lady herding goats.

it was supposed to be the right path lmao and the spot google told me was in fact the parking lot from where the actual trek starts. the place was empty at the moment because it wasnt saturday apparently

you may laugh but it was a near death experience to me. i was 1.5km inside a forest, alone goddammit, unprepared. the situation was fueled by a previous wrong turn in that journey (thanks google again) and a forest department warning board that i chose to ignore

>Home turf

Can't expect the Bengali faustian spirit that makes him carve out lebensraum in the middle of salty swamplands infested by two apex predators and half the venomous snakes in the country to be present in the average gangu after all

:sad2:

I wish I had leopards to worry about on the only walk I did in Aravali. Was walking from one Jaipur fort to another to save taxi fare, was like 8km in that blasted desert heat that doesn't stop even in December and just barren nothingness around. :marseysad:

Ah it was at foothills of Jaipur only how come none of the guides included it  I guess I'll include it if I visit again, I didn't know the path uphill to Nahargarh was through a park then I might have taken it.
