Primitive and stupid natives of the United States (I mean the :cracker:s) seethe and mald when confronted with the possibility that they may be asked to solve Leetcode hard problems during job interviews

I mean guys, if you can't even do Leetcode so called "hard", the industry probably isn't for you and you should go off and work in manufacturing or something else more suited to your mental abilities...

believe that since they graduated with a CS degree they're entitled to a software engineering job with no additional work on their part

Isn't that the whole fricking point of getting a CS degree? These codemonkeys are gigcucked smh.

Being able to stop learning and improving is poorcel and a relic of the 20th century though.

every engineer I know still does training to stay current, but the point of the degree is there's supposed to be opportunity on the other side of it, otherwise these people would just get an easier major like English or whatever

stay current in what? the several basic concepts we've been renaming 1000 times over since the 50s?

Maybe if CS were the new basketball stars where you have to work hard for a one in a million shot, then America would be beating China and India.

>take a bunch of stupid memorization tests to get a degree to prove you know stuff

>HR and r-slurred boomer hiring managers expect you to do more memorization so you can solve stupid tests to get the job

Most of corporate culture is just these midwits desperately flinging their pp around to feel important. Demanding you be available 24/7 to respond to them, trying to schedule you on days you mark that you cant work, and just other petty tyrant shit. I love how HR foids can just take a week off for mental health and forget to remove the holds on my registration, but I am expected to work longer then the amount of hours they pay me for and be open 24/7 to respond to people. Same goes for managers they can do whatever they want to grind work to a halt but god forbid you mark that you need x day off a month in advance.

It'll absolutely blow your mind if you ever end up working for a not shitty company. They're out there though.

Being a masters student uniquely sucks as i do all the work of a phd student with more cost and a lower pay but i guess its just my punishment for not being smart enough to get into an phd programs.
