$NVDA

Nvidia is a company that tends to not be political.
Of course, politics effects them just as much (if not more) than any public company.
However, you don't hear Jensen give his thoughts on the political problems of our time or $NVDA make statements about deeply political… pic.twitter.com/mgpeC0d3xG
The Biden Administration's "AI Diffusion" rule will stifle innovation and undermine America’s global technology leadership. Restricting access to mainstream computing risks derailing AI progress for industries at home and abroad.

It’s time to sell your Nvidia stock because they’re becoming political too? Is Jensen a fraud too now?

America already lost. The whole thing now is just about who is going to be left holding the bag in the end.
The only way American companies are currently able to compete is by completely banning outside competition which shows how badly they are performing in the free market.
The American company, in their hunger to maximize profits above all else, have soft locked all technological advancements away from the average American. A situation made worse by wokescolds further censoring the general public.
In the end it is the Chinese who are going to lead future technology as they have already begun to build products that are actually of a better quality and capability than their American counterparts. The only reason it is taking so long for the world to notice is because of the high price fallacy where the American market has convinced the American public that the overpriced products they are buying is the actual product and that the price at which the Chinese product sells can only be possible if it is of a bad quality that brings nothing to the table.
China is already only 3 years behind Taiwan when it comes to chip manufacturing, making them on par with South Korean chip manufacturers. A decade ago that distance between the Chinese and western chip companies was 5 years. Today it is three. In another 10 years we can expect it to be at most 1 or more realistically none at all. Even though the US tried with all its might to block China from accessing core technologies.
China will catch up to the US in AI. China will go on to surpass the US in AI. The US today is where the UK would have been during the beginning of the 20th century. A global power but now with other players capable of competing with and challenging it. Only in the case of the US the decline appears to be speedrunning instead of moving slowly decade by decade.
Chinese products for the same quality are cheaper than the American ones. When the Chinese reach the point where they produce better products than the Americans, for a cheaper price than what is the best available product in America, we will begin to see the US economy either stagnate or US incomes begin to actively collapse so as to remain competitive in the market temporarily for a few years longer.
US quality of life will have peaked near 100,000 USD. It is not climbing higher than that as the demand simply isn't there and the rest of the world can already in current day compete in all technologies and products below the cutting edge produced in the US.

this is basically china's MO across all industries tho?
don't they still straight up ban any non-chinese companies from operating in china? ie you have to give a controlling (51%) stake to the chinese to be allowed to operate there, which most companies do through a subsidiary

All other countries do it if they have the means but its only bad if white countries do it

It's is bad because it's protectism. That only the industries in the country benefit from it and because there is no competition they can raise the prices.

That's not banning. Europe is doing the same thing now. The US is free to do the same.

The Chinese are already ahead of US chip manufacturers ez. The only reason China is considered behind is because the US pretty much owns the most advanced chip manufacturing province that exists on the other side of the world.

Yeah. My dad said we lost in the 90s when unions basically r*ped auto manufacturing into nonexistence.
At that point, engineering talent didn't get paid working in manufacturing and decided to start going into finance/SAAS.
This is basically where the UK was in the 1930s btw. They worked as a finance/management zone that added a little value on top of already manufactured goods.
Kinda like how we assemble stuff from Chinese t3 suppliers domestically and call it "made in America".
US spends like 70% of the budget on retirees and healthcare for poors so we're basically never going to be able to fund education/capital for new tech/ building weapons.
Luckily for us, we'll probably just lose quietly without a war.

Impressive.
With this most recent achievement, fate has in a single stroke, marked the decline of the west and spelled a new era of wondrous prosperity and peaceful global dominance for the Chinese dragon, which promises to firmly stand in sharp contrast to the historically bloody ascent of western powers and the cruel subjugation it brought to the humbler nations of the world. With the blessings of Chinese quantum direct-current electricity, quantum aircraft carriers and quantum enhanced railguns will be the instruments with which China affirms its noble stewardship of 21st century world politics and offers the non-western world a different option; an humanist alternative to the depredations of Western leadership and the opportunity for a more equitable and dignified multilateralism.

This but unironically. The Chinese are better and more humanitarian than you. If the American was offered to uplift 1 billion people out of poverty within a generation they would shoot a billion people dead and declare no more poverty.
