Chip nm process peaks at 1nm and won't grow any smaller after 2027. No more doubling. Which means India gets too go into chip manufacturing for more general purpose appliances without having too invest any R&D and will still have caught up in 15-30 years time. That's a good thing.

Yes but not at the scale or length of what Moore's law actually was. India is going for 28nm process which is about a decade old so that's good too. Not having too start from scratch.
