What are you doing with AI these days?

I'm gluing js libraries together, making memes, and organizing datasets so large and useless it might as well be white noise. You know, all the things that no one should be paid to do.

Correct stance is in the middle. People who think AI is magic are r-slurs. Anti-AI everything contrarians are r-slurs. It's good at some things and bad at some things.

Specifically, it's useful for parsing large amounts of text and slightly useful for coming up with new-ish text based off certain parameters. Ironically much better at creative writing and more "artsy" content than it is at coming up with consistently accurate responses for subjects in math and science.

>Try to generate some algorithms and project structure for dumb spring microservices.

>See CompanyGPT get about 50% there.

>Refactor most of it into somewhat usable code that at least remotely adheres to OOP, SOLID and other principles the elites conjured up to keep the simple codecel down.

>Expand the remaining 50% where the logic was more than 2 sentences deep and it got confused.

Still worth it, because I had to expand less brainpower. Unfortunately it's still useless unless your goal is to make something that compiles and don't care how maintainable, performant or generally good it is. But it forces me to think less so I get tired a lot less than I did a few years ago. I also realized yesterday I even forgot how to manipulate a map without chatgpt. :marseygigaretard:

best use for AI i found is to dump huge stacktraces into it and tell it to explain, so much easier than reading through all that gibberish
