[update] Browser Check, what browser do you use?

The dust has mostly settled from the manifest changes, so I thought it would be a good time to ask again.

I'm curious if you guys are still using Firef*x? I just threw in the towel. My main issue is degrading performance, it seems like to use the browser i have to close and re-open it every 12 hours or my performance would slow to a Crawl, I also noticed worse RAM usage than with chrome. I'm going to use chrome a bit to see if the ads effect me, I'm going to KMS if I have to switch back.

Still on Safari. Use Firef*x on Linux. Will use degoogled chromium before Brave. I just hate how nu-browsers looks. Brave, Vivaldi, Floorp etc all have these tiny butt UIs with 4 task bars and vertical tabs and whatever. Safari, Firef*x, stock/degoogled chromium all just look simple. !applechads

Meh. VPNs (and that's what the iCloud thing basically is) is so overstated. If some website can keep you logged in despite your IP address, you bet they can track you across VPNs.

Best to just use private browsing and turn on as many anti-fingerprinting features your browser has.

Firef*x with uBlock Origin still works great for blocking YouTube ads, as does Opera for Android. (the two browsers I use)

Brave and Cromite. Neither have ad blocking issues with V3 because they bypass the manifest entirely. Firef*x fricking sucks, Librewolf is usable, but still bad.

Used to use Firef*x, but it became such a pain in the butt between managing privacy extensions, broken websites, random hitches, etc.

Finally jumped on the Brave train since it does everything I want out of the box + I don't have to deal with codecel ineptitude with browser support.

No, I don't understand tab hoarders. I normally have <10 tabs open at any time and never have any open long term.

Lots of tabs opens feels like one of three things

1. Boomers

2. Gen Z and younger

3. Foids

Gen X and Millennials moids are all trained on browsing the internet with either no tabs at all and multi-windows and/or limited RAM.

YES I did download a "Free up RAM" program and yes I did crack it :marseyindignant:

Been using Brave for years now. I originally moved to it from :marseytrain2:fox because it was only browser on android that allowed to play media on browser while screen was closed (maybe still is) I cant believe there was a day when I had to leave my screen open in pocket while listening to some youtube video cause I didnt wanna paypig like the normies. I switched to brave on desktop too not much later.

Also its brave (chromium) not brave (chrome) fricking r-slur

I use mainly Firef*x but have to close it or else it starts just burning through 8gigs of ram for some tabs, probably from adblocker on YouTube.

Even the browser single tab is like 2gig on Firef*x. Brave seems better but it's a b-word to transfer my passwords and info from Firef*x to brave, plus braves password system with sites really sucks and has overwritten passwords before when making alt accounts, or anything related to school domains where they have multiple account systems on one subdomains
