Since it's clear that Fedora does not have any interest in a rational discussion at this point, and has decided to resort to name-calling, we are now considering the Fedora Flatpaks distribution of OBS Studio a hostile fork.

I can't find any "name-calling" exactly but he seems to be talking about this thread:

https://pagure.io/fedora-workstation/issue/463

fenrirthviti is the OBS guy, catanzaro is the fedora guy who ticks him off

catanzaro thinks version numbers need to go up or script kiddies will use OBS to hack kernels or some such shit, he doesn't actually seem to know but he puts it like:

One of the arguments in favor of Fedora Flatpaks is that Flathub maintainers are sometimes just bad at maintaining their packages, and, well... suffice to say I'm quite surprised we need to debate whether it's acceptable to use an EOL runtime that no longer receives security updates.

fenrirthviti is pissed:

I wasn't going to reply to this, but the audacity of implying we're bad maintainers after trying to extend an explanation to things you very clearly don't understand, and now I see don't care to understand, is just a bit much. Not a good look for you to insult our community and developers who spend an immense amount of time and effort to keep things updated, tested, and stable. Guess all the work that our community has done to move away from the overly-aggressive KDE runtime deprecations means nothing because we opted to do things right, instead of fast.

cat doubles down:

I won't mince words: allowing the runtime to go EOL is unacceptable and indicates terrible maintainership.

and so here we are
