I was installing helix-term and I noticed that my WSL2 Ubuntu 22.04 distro compiled it faster (41 seconds, in the native Linux partition) than on bare-metal Windows (64 seconds). Has anyone noticed this as well?

WSL2 is great but I have seen "programmers" use it just for the bash terminal. It always amuses me that they run an entire hyper-v VM just to be able to use linux commands when git bash or cygwin exist.

It's overly verbose but you can do a lot with it. It's far better than bat scripts and ngl I sometimes like it more than bash.
