You will never be a real superpower

Remember when @pizzashill (and some other nat ids) was talking about how Russia's military is trash and it would have no chance against NATO countries in a land war? Well, we're in luck since we can consult an actual historian on the matter of how well equipped an exemplary NATO country really is. He's a bong and mostly unbiased, leaning a bit against Russia in some of his recent vids in wording and how he presents information, but the information is pretty much always well-sourced and factual.

Brits always had the second best military in NATO. Right now they have no functional navy to speak of (2 carries with little support, will be destroyed in 2 missile strikes once they leave port), and 5-10 times weaker airforce and land army than Ukraine had PRE-WAR That's by their own admission, so you can divide that in two easily to get something closer to reality

Arguably Germany has a slightly "larger" army and airforce, but not by much. France is worse, and every other NATO country except the US can be swiped up as a rounding error.

And now for our balcanfriends:

You will never be a real superpower. You have no nukes, you have no army, you have no artillery. You are a vassal state twisted by peace treaties and unions into a crude mockery of geopolitics perfection.

All the “validation” you get is two-faced and half-hearted. Behind your back your neighbors mock you. Your citizens are disgusted and ashamed of you, your “allies” laugh at your pitiful borders behind closed doors.

Men are utterly repulsed by you. Thousands of years of evolution have allowed world leaders to sniff out frauds with incredible efficiency. Even countries who have a national “guard” look easy and pitiful to a world power. Your tax structure is a dead giveaway. And even if you manage to get a big player not to invade you, he’ll rig your elections and use you as a proxy to fight his wars for him.

This is your fate. This is what you chose. There is no turning back.
