I agree, that Ukraine can be our test case for supply chain issues and logistics. There are munitions factories in PA ramping up production right now, better that the US enhances capability now than in 2025. Germany and Italy used the Spanish Civil War as a sandbox for tech and tactics, and the US now has that opportunity with the Hohols and Vatniks. The DoD would be idiotic not to exploit this opportunity as much as possible.
US put too much political weight in it. The whole article also assumes China doesn’t use this war in improving their weapons when they are directly supplying Wagner and even with satellites. It’s also cute how this article didn’t mention that US send more than 150 billions in financial help to Ukraine
