Last September khohols had some success and US told if Russian uses tactical nukes khohols will get tanks. So after they got it, long range missiles, AD and now jets. What deter Russia now ? Russian freed a big chunk of land in south Ukraine from civilians if Ukrainian forces capture it there nothing stops Russian from nuking it.
Since Ukraine is about to get f16 how will west deter Russian from just start using tactical nukes ?

I guess you mean nuking the airfields in Ukraine? If every runway was turned into a crater, it wouldn't stop the Ukrainians from just taking off from bases in NATO country. If nuclear weapons are used they'll get anything they ask for.

Nuking the few railroads will do, Ukraine will starve to death in a month without European support that comes on trains. This won't happen though since if Putin wanted to win he'd do it with fabs already, you don't need nukes to cripple the supply paths

You do realize europe barely has any AD left, US can produce only 150 patriot 3 missiles a year and it takes 2 night for Ukraine to deploy them. Western AD are just worse because they never invested in that tech tree. So there is no way for west to enforce it and as bonus Russia will wipe out bases from where those jets are launched. If west start putting boots on the ground Russia can then just nuke west Ukraine as whole. What will US do ? Launch a nuke at Russia and get a nuke back ?
So there is nothing US can do now and US now even want to freeze that conflict
