All I’ve read about the war so far is that Russia is basically winning (it’s basically WW1 trench warfare). There seems to be a lot of Western involvement after Boris Johnson ran to Kiev (and possibly told Ukraine to wipe their butt with a peace treaty like the Crimean treaty or accord during Obama) with western mercenaries and even Western soldiers fighting for Ukraine via rules lawyering.
I had friends in Crimea who basically said for years that foreign money was being poured into hyper nationalist groups and that Eastern Ukraine was in a state of Civil and tribal war for years. Also, I did meet them playing CS.
