I didn't understand this either until recently, you send the r-slurs and elderly first. There's a minimum age to be drafted, right now like 28y/o, i think at the start it was 35 or 40, there were jokes in year 1 about sending heart meds to the front. It's not because they were down to the olds, it's that you start there because there is less societal impact. It's why sending prisoners was such a gigabrain move from Wagner
