I understand a lot of Ukrainian women have already volunteered. So it could be that all the able-bodied young women who aren't caring for kids are already involved and there isn't anybody left to draft.

And it appears Ukraine only drafts men over 26, which is weird because the US only drafts men under 26. So they have a lot of untapped potential there too.

Zelenskyy wanted to draft 500k men by lowering age draft from 26 to 24 only to find they won't be even able to draft 100k

The age group that was 21-22 when this conflict started are now in that age group and that age group has like 160k men in 2021 and big percentage left and are sick so you can easily divide by 2.
