You are now the only one in pro khohol scene who went after that detail jfl. It also takes like around 3 minutes for a jet to do 180 degrees turn. So it's absolutely normal thing when jet don't land on first turn.

They didn't took off from Belgorod, prisons of pows is in Ural so the jet flew to Belgorod didn't landed on first try while was burning fuel got hit by patriot that is in Kharkiv and crashed. From Belgorod to Kharkiv the distance is less than 80km and + 30km is 110km and pac 2 has range of 160km

So they flew 30km at under 10000 feet, based on the video of the crash, so they can turn and make another landing attempt
I calculated the radar horizon at 10000 feet with a ground based radar, it's like 15km. The Patriot would need to be half way between Belgorod and the crash site in order to lock onto and hit that plane.
And where are the bodies? Did the hohols disintegrate but the brave Russians remained intact to be on the video from the crash site?
