I think we can all agree he needed more bullying, because he's kind of a turd.

All I got from Putin's interview is he's a living slav stereotype by his use of language, with the extreme talent for changing the topic when anyone presents reality in front of their face.
Slavs have perfected this "I'm just a lowly eastern euro, why do you ask such things, when America does (vaguely related) x".
The slav publicly presented image is like a deep rooted inferiority complex combined with a drunken level of confidence, where they think using an endearing turn of phrase makes you less r-slurred cuz you're agreeable and less gay than others around, and hoping everyone forgot what the question was or what type of person they are IRL.
