When someone is kept waiting, there is a reason. Sometimes we wait because it's not the right time for a conversation. Sometimes we have to wait because we are not ready for the conversation... Tucker, like all American men, is in a hurry, rushing somewhere. This is one of the main problems of Western man, the need to perform. But it is the little things in life that are worth observing and enjoying, that make everyday life beautiful... He was also surprised to learn that a country has centuries-old roots that strengthen its sense of nationhood. America could only be like this if they gave back to the American Indians what is theirs, and embraced the foundations of Indian culture and restored honour to the indigenous people. But there's not much chance of that for now. Once an Indian chief, a visionary, said to the Americans, "You are now in power and you have subjugated and killed a good part of my people. The spirits of my ancestors are now running around. But the time will come when we will once again rule this land and the spirits of your ancestors will be running around this land..." ... America has no cultural roots, so only mediocrity can give it a sense of nationhood. Why didn't Turker ask about the dismantling of NATO centres in Ukraine, the Nazi ideological brainwashing spread by the CIA, organ trafficking, bio labs funded by Big Pharma...?

Of course it one of my fricking countrymen too :marseyitsover:

Some people are able to display their intelligence by going on at length on a subject and never actually saying anything. This ability is most common in trades such as politics, public relations, and law. You have impressed me by being able to best them all, while still coming off as an absolute idiot.
