I been telling for a month now they should pull out of Avdiivka but Ukraine decided to launch new spring counteroffensive and they had only on possible way to do this so what a surprise Russia destroyed their base of spring counteroffensive and they couldn't launch any counteroffensive and now they are encircled 
Main reason why Zelenskyy didn't wanted to leave Avdiivka is Zaluzhnyy
Popularity poll 38% want Zaluzhnyy as president and less than 20% Zelenskyy
Then he wanted to hurt Putin basically no avdiivka before president election in Russia (oxymoron)
I fear of losing western support
