Putin doesn't have any coins to trade for that guy in Germany that killed some ex Chechen war leader.

Navalny politically was already dead, just compare his arrival to Russia in 2021 vs his death. He him self probably knew this since in 2023 he decided to say Crimea is Ukrainian to get an Oscar

In late 2023 it was clear Russian are ready to fight to the last Ukrainian so them getting back is a very low probability and Russian won't give it back without a fight so he signed his political death but on bright side he got a Oscar, something Zelensky doesn't have and now probably will never get
