What exactly is worthwhile in Sumy? It's not really a political, industrial or commercial center and doesn't have Russian speakers unlike everywhere else in east Ukraine

Basically a highway that leads to the capitol. Literally nothing between Sumy and Kyiv besides a river thats not big enough so the Russkies can just swing north around it, so the Ukrops have to go babysit Sumy. Normally, Sumy would be very important because the Russians could thunder-run all the way to Kyiv but at this point in the war and after the vehicle losses Russia took so far, I don't even think a thunder run is even on the table so probably just towing artillery and rocket launchers within range of Kyiv would be the only thing I guess.
